Pre-Conference Activities and Welcome Reception – Monday, June 22
Already on Monday, June 22d, there will be opportunities for pre-conference meetings and workshops at Stockholm University, and we kindly invite interested parties to get in touch, so that we can prepare suitable venues. We are hoping to offer a range of options for participants who arrive early.
On Monday evening, we invite all conference attendees to a Welcome Reception at the Swedish Museum of Natural History, located next door to the university. Enjoy a unique opportunity to connect with fellow attendees in an inspiring setting surrounded by the fascinating exhibits of the museum.
Conference Opening – Tuesday, June 23
The main conference program begins on Tuesday, June 23 in Aula Magna, Stockholm University’s flagship auditorium and one of Sweden’s most prominent lecture halls. Each day will begin with a common address from one of our distinguished plenary speakers.
Over the course of the four-day event, the program will feature both oral and poster presentations spanning a wide range of topics. Attendees will be able to choose from multiple parallel sessions, including themes such as Archaeogenomics, Wildlife Palaeogenomics and computational methods. The sessions will begin with a lecture from an invited Keynote Speaker, each a leading expert in the field.
Conference Dinner – Thursday, June 25
On the evening of Thursday, June 25, we invite you to the Conference Dinner at Stockholm City Hall, the historic venue of the Nobel Prize banquet. Join us for an unforgettable evening of fine dining, networking, and celebration in one of Stockholm’s most historic and beautiful venues.
